The toppling of the Qing Dynasty in China (starting in Wuhan).

A railway in China (who was behind this?) from Kowloon to Canton (Guangzhou).

Italy declaring war on Ottoman Empire.

The hull of the RMS Titanic launched (gave them their idea for later?)

Political tensions in Britain involving Winston Churchill when he was Home Secretary (Siege of a Sydney Street gun battle).

Russian Premier Pyotr Stolypin shot at Kiev Opera House a la Lincoln-esque assassination attempt.

WWI began with assassination of Archduke by the Black Hand. Supposedly they were Serbian nationalists, yet they pop up in Connection with Ford in Detroit years later listed as Italian mafia.
