Many of the same who told you of Saturn, also spoke often of Jupiter. Along with other planetary "gods", so to say.
We celebrate Thanksgiving always on a Thor'sDay, out of the mutual admiration to said planet between our respective ancestors. Same reason why Passover is always supposed to fall on the Thursday. Twas Jupiter that freed us from the very bonds of Saturn
