The logistics of travelling to DC make it very hard to do. and the hazing that the DC transportation authorities do makes it even harder.

It used to be a lot easier.

that was before DC would just film every license plate driving through and issue a ticket for speeding (I've heard that you don't even have to be speeding) for anyone that they say is speeding (and how do you prove you weren't?).

And they've closed down the loop that makes it easy to drive around there.

So you park in arlington and take the subway?

Screw that.

so, how to get there? just board a bus?

park just on the outskirts of the city and walk in.

Go to Philadelphia, park, and take the train.

how else?

Lumbo City and the commuter rail?

Pull off at that exit on the highway that it says not to pull off at and hope that they arrest you and bring you into the city and let you out right around the time of the rally? (that's a real bad idea and didn't that happen right around the time of the timesup train?

so the logistics of going to DC suck, so how am I gonna get there?

600 bucks would buy me a room at the hotel?

and get sucker punched by trolls on the way back?

I'd just put the seats down and sleep in my rig, I'd bring a bunch of blankets and dont care if it gets cold, I know how to stay warm in a sleeping bag, plus it's DC.

I used to use DC and Manhattan as 'better place to stop than an arrest area' on my way to the way way south (which I did a bunch of times.).

Before the Barry Years it was easy to just pull off the highway, especially in Manhattan, and just do a few hours there, get back in the car and drive on.

and DC was the same way.

but once the marxists decided that no one should drive anymore they made the roads and highways into transportation gridlock hell.

and if you dare try to stop and do the sane couple of hour R&R they make it suck by slowing down the traffic and hazing the people using the tunnels and bridges.

any suggestions on easy ways to venture to DC on Jan 6 are welcome.

a place to meet somewhere in South Jersey or Pennsylvania away from the Lumbo-city vibe?

Suburban Maryland is just a creep fest.

anyway, ya, seems far fetched that I can go there but Biden being president (yeck) is a worse idea.
