This will effectively be the end of Twitch and other services. Especially those where gamers stream themselves playing a game (''copyrighted material''), since that will now be criminalized by this, should it pass. Background music, art or any other things that accidentally end up as part of a stream could land the streamer in prison.

Also, bills should stand on their own. Fuck this attaching one piece of legislation to another. If it can't stand on its own, then it shouldn't be passed. Them attaching these things to other (unrelated) things, is just their covert way of sneakily getting more control.

It does, and I don't trust GNews. Why would the CCP allow them to exist, if they were really trying to get truth out there? The answer is, they wouldn't so it's a CCP controlled oppo source that should not be trusted.
