Probably went into effect early after Trump's inauguration speech. Nothing since is real in the way even we here imagine it to be (ultra cynics about all presumed 'reality'). Really comes down to 21st century solutions. So let me see…. the people should run their States and by extension the Federal Government.
No, I don't mean voting, I mean running. Legislation going through gets voted on by people/citizens/workers/taxpayers. Legislators only provide the arguments in their State and Federal houses for certain decision but leave decisions to the same people who Vote for them. In the 21st electronic Century that is possible. Cutting out strands of Middle Men is possible. You might even say it's the only expression of real power to the people available now with the modern tools of immediacy at our disposal. The new tools aren't going to go away so commandeer them to take real power into the hands of people.
