UK ‘exploring’ digital ‘freedom passport’ app proving Covid-19 negative status for right to visit public places – report

The British government has hired two firms to explore how a national database of Covid-19 test results could be used to give access to public venues only to people free from the disease, contract records show.

The companies, Netcompany UK and The Hub Company, have been given contracts worth £42,000 and £36,000 respectively (over $100,000 in total) to conduct work on “Covid-19 Certification/Passport MVP [minimum viable product].” The Daily Mail was the first to report on the records, which were made public last week.

Under the proposed system, people would be assigned individual QR codes referring to a national database for Covid-19 test results. Public venues like pubs, schools and workplaces would be able to scan the code to check the profile, which includes a photo, and confirm the visitor is Covid-19 free before letting them in.

Sources in the Department of Health told the Daily Mail that the exploratory work revealed in the contracts does not mean that the system will be introduced anytime soon, and said there were no plans to link it to vaccination records.

There are no plans to introduce immunity passports.

But sceptics seem to mistrust the government’s intentions and see the contracts as foreshadowing a grim future in the UK, with a controlling government curtailing people’s freedoms.

Even if the system is dependent only on tests and not vaccinations, there are still considerations about its practicality. Critics argue that mass testing inevitably generates a skewed picture of the pandemic situation due to the large number of false positives and false negatives, and fails to inform the public and the government about the actual threat posed by the virus.

Personally I'd prefer to shop at farm shops but right now they're too expensive thanks to the virus destroying my main income so I've stuck to Sainsbury's and haven't had any problems with not wearing a mask.. So far at least.

It might be worth checking out the government guidelines that shops have to follow in the event that they 'discriminate' against people with medical conditions. If they want to follow government 'guidelines', which aren't law, they should be aware that it could cost them up to £9k if they refuse to serve someone who is exempt from wearing a mask due to a medical condition.

Todays X22 mentioned something about a coincidence that both the US and UK are being forced into extreme lockdown whilst being the main two countries fighting the globalist agendas..

The UK also have Brexit in a few days time, the EU deep state, and they're trying to hold us to ransom by closing our borders to the EU and affect trade. The big sticking point is fishing rights which is funny because the EU only have one of the biggest coastlines around the bloc therefore plenty of fishing areas.. Mind you, the English Channel is called the English Channel for a reason..

The odd thing is that it's been reported that this blockade will only last 36 hours or so.. Why such a short period of time if it's related to an out of control mutated version of a virus..?

If France doesn't want us to visit then perhaps Germany will miss our Mercedes Benz, Audi and VW markets..
