It's a lack of faith and trust in The Most High God! I don't speak with a judgmental heart, but the truth is that people, some who really are Christian (see Matt 7:21-23) are intent on trying to "make" things happen as opposed to waiting on God AND being content with where He has us at any given point in time! I speak from much first hand experience in my own life! Crazy thing is, countless times I've seen Him "come through", or "provide" miraculously and even so, (sometimes it's just "sometimes", while other times it's often) I STILL find myself driving hard to get "my way" on "my terms"! It's giving in to insanity! He Is a Good God and obviously knows what's best, but, it does reveal how totally depraved and broken we are! Following Him on His terms IS the demarcation of maturity in a relationship with Him! ←- THESE are the people you can trust with your life … anything less, you very well could get the same, or nearly the same response from "those who are in the world"!
