The guilty plea is not essential to the lifting of flynns nda. Could just as well have been an innocent plea. The guilty plea served further purposes, in my opinion. It ends the narrative completely and finally. The cabal would rather have seen a highly publicized trial. Further, if there was a relationship between judge and fbi then the guilty plea puts the judge under pressure if it is obvious that there is no evidence.
