Can anyone explain why it takes a threat of impeachment for both the FBi and the DOJ to turn over documents to congressional investigators. And even then they withhold some evidence or ultimately destroy evidence. Documents and evidence that show illegal activities by state actors?

I don't get it, particularly since the heads of those agencies have been appointed by the POTUS. What are they protecting? Clearly they are new in their jobs and didn't have anything to do with the bad things that happened in the last administration.

Have they been corrupted that quickly?
