In a supervisory position, he can keep track of the fuckfaces and let them do what they really want to do (investigate and prosecute Trump) while also watching how corrupt they are while they do it. They're kept distracted, they're not fired (so there isn't an uproar because of partisanship), and they're not turned loose to cause a great deal of problems for the administration by cultivating alternative governments and joining forces with the Clinton/Obama efforts against the American people. Etc. Etc. Blah blah blah.
