When people speak in a scripted form to me, I feel they're being disingenuous. I don't trust them. If Trump had started out like that, I wouldn't have trusted him, either.
It's the same for me when people parrot talking points that I've heard a million times. I lose interest in what they're saying immediately because I feel it offers nothing of value. No introspect.
Do you feel this could be attributed more toward nature or nurture? Is this a learned discernment from experiencing betrayal, perhaps?
