Just to be a little sceptic, when the camera zooms in toward the end and fills the screen with whatever it is, the whole image moves in line with the camera but the stars stay where they are..

If whatever it is was in the way, the camera would pan across the view rather than move the 'whatever it is' too..

Could this be a bluebeam test?
