I think yours is the second post I've seen like this. It seems to me a great opportunity to avoid gathering with such folks. If they are afraid of coronavirus/COVID or whatever, can't you graciously stay away? It seems like they would like that. Everyone happy.

I think by now we should all realize that public officials getting vaccinated in front of a camera will never give us clarity about the safety of the product. Even if someone (like Pence) is willing to take the real dosage no pharmaceutical company would dare risk the fallout of a negative reaction. Just about 100% sure that no public official getting vaccinated publicly is taking a real vaccine. Maybe that could be arranged somehow, but right now I don't believe any of them are really taking a vaccine like what people in the public are getting.
Here's an example of a vaccine death following a flu shot given to a public figure. The story is a couple years old. Imagine the fallout if something like this happened now.
