Working a 24 tomorrow, first responder, east coast. Been extremely busy lately, im a listener, constantly watching, seeing, observing. I'm in a unique position, working first hand in this "pandemic" AND behind the scenes with frens.
Me talking to a patient:
"So mayam, how is it having COVID?"
Panic looked at me
"OMG it's so horrible.. I cant.. I can't smell.. or.. or taste!!"
"Oh… so how is it compared to the flu?"
"The flu is nothing! I can't SMELL or TASTE"
Me: blank stare
