I live in a small town. One grocery store. Last week I was approached by a worker who got the manager and demanded I put in a mask. I refused and left my groceries there, vowing never to shop there again. Nobody there defended my words. They just stared (that’s what scared me). Now I’m left with shopping at the local gas station or driving 90 miles round trip to another store. Summers are fine as I have farmer neighbors and can garden, but this is what it’s come to.

The mask is a security blanket and God help the people that can SEE.

So true. I will get back into chickens this spring and can source all my other food locally, thankfully. I had the forethought to stock up and am surviving through the winter through that- eating with the seasons. It’s challenging (and almost fun) once I set into the mindset.

Fondue chain restaurant. I used to live there..iirc this is a section where the tourists go. Thankfully many people were likely not on the street at that time of day.
