I have the same chance of "knowing" my creator as say Hamlet would've had to know Shakespeare. This makes it hard sometimes to comprehend for me.
But!
Shakespeare can write himself into the story as a character. Then that character can have a "chance" meeting with Hamlet or anyone and tell them anything. The response? (and anon is all too familiar with this feel) "Yeah right, who died and made (You) author of this Parable? No matter, I'm anon.
Anyway, what if this was the only way to get an idea across to a creation? In a dream maybe. Or a "chance" meeting or 2nd glance?
Yes, it is most defiantly happening - that's why it seems timeline-ish or from the past, etc.
Even to use the word (where there are no words at all) "define" (from the finite)
Is God (or the idea of such if you have not found it) "finite"? Of course Not, God is infinite.

The actual subject matters in the dream sequences may not be all that important to divulge - pretty dicey, icky in spots, vivid in that there were many lucid elements, storylines and the actual multiple night timeline to have them in.
Yes there are pain killers in the system even still, so of course account for that. (The pain is intense - and getting moar used to it as it heals)
