I'll explain how this really works, in case anyone cares. PNGs tend to be larger with photos, but smaller with drawings and images that have large patches of the same color. GIFs are even smaller in the same circumstance. The nice thing to do is try to save your work in a way that produces the smallest file possible, to minimize the strain on Jim's computers.
