Human remains reportedly found near Nashville explosion site
Human remains have been found near the site of the Nashville Christmas Day explosion, CBS News reports.
It’s not yet clear whether the remains are from someone connected to the blast or from a victim, the outlet reported, citing law enforcement sources.
An RV parked in downtown Nashville blew up early on Friday after blaring a recording that warned a bomb would detonate in 15 minutes, according to police.
Officers responding to what turned out to be a bogus report of shots fired came upon the vehicle and evacuated nearby buildings.
At least three people were hurt in the blast and were being treated for non life-threatening injuries.
Authorities didn’t immediately say whether anyone was inside the RV when it exploded.
The blast shook nearby buildings and caused communications outages, prompting the Federal Aviation Administration to temporarily ground flights out of Nashville International Airport.
