One of the Nashville “911” exhibits was a recreation of the Venice “Bridge of Sighs” which refers to the “last sigh of Freedom” as one crosses the bridge into imprisonments. STAPLE STREET in NYC also has a “(sky)bridge of sighs” and looks toward the 911 site.
