It's nibiru. They believe Nibiru struck the Earth(Tiamat), giving it life. In the process, the atmosphere of Nibiru was damaged and they needed gold to repair it. Spraying it in the atmosphere like we do with Barium and Aluminum. Hence why man has coveted and collected a worthless metal that cannot heal, be eaten or even make tools from. Gold is generally worthless, but yet coveted by man and hoarded. They believe the Sumerian Gods will return one day and choose it's new leaders for new worlds. The ones with the most gold to offer will be chosen. This is why their symbolism is all through the Sumerian tablets, and all over the planet. The owls, the Nibiru depictions, the pinecones, etc..
