Maybe an anon can do better than my feeble attempt at this…

 

I've been looking at that video of the before and after explosion for about an hour now. My initial impression was the white car was the bomb. I don't think the frame after should be used because the CCD is clearly saturated. At the end of the video, the remaining light is clearly where the explosion was.

 

Problem with this video is that there's 2 shifting perspectives and possibly a third. I think the mount of the original camera may have shifted slightly, getting pushed back and up from the blast. Regardless, you still have to align the guy holding the video and the guy recording the video.

 

So after an hour playing with the perspectives I can conclude the explosion was either just in front of the white car or it was the white car.

 

This isn't the best alignment I managed but I'm not going to play with this anymoar. This skill is not my expertise.

 

I can see this both ways. Either the white car or I think the more likely spot is right in front of it. So the exercise did change my first impression at least.
