I lived on the same street as explosion just a few blocks down.
Not sure what details have been dropped here but with internet down and stressed phone service this is my first chance to post now.
ATT building the red outside is a shell. It was built around the building to fit into the Nashville architecture.
Cold war era facilty.
Anyone have questions ask and maybe I can clear up more things.
I moved Nov 1st outside the city. About 40 miles out. Did not feel the blast, everything here is affected for internet and phone.
My wife works in downtown 2 blocks up by the capital.
The kids were killing me all day. Was a nice family day for christmas though.
I was in a duplex there. Called the neighbor yesterday. People do not know what is going on.
I speculate the RV was not making the announcement. People who lived uptop the shops there say the gunshots were recorded and coming from the ATT building NOT the RV.
CBS news locally pointed out yesterday actually that it was probably an attack on ATT over snowden leaks.
But dont forget that building should have been auditing Dominion machines too.
Nashville hosts tons of state and out of state infra.
No everything was so slow yesterday. Actual internet did not cut until 6 hours AFTER the boom.
Nobody tells that though.
Depends how you look at it. No actual power issues aside from the street getting blown up.
I dont believe backup generators was where the crater is, that part does not add up to me.

EBS system went out around 1PM saying 911 services up to 180 miles surrounding Nashville was down.
Its insane the delays they dont make sense.
I plan to try to be around today. Im doing my own digging and polling people who were working at the time for my wife and etc.
