Some theories about the Nashville bombing. Keep in mind this is pure speculation.

This building was apparently used as a cloud computing data center, and there has been speculation it may be used for government/NSA data collection.

What if the original intention was to bring the entire building down like Oklahoma City with demolition charges inside and the explosion on the street was purely for the cameras?

There were reports of a firefight/gunshots before the explosion. This is what originally brought the police to the scene. What if White Hats were able to prevent the destruction of the building by disarming the explosives inside (again, pure speculation) but unable to stop the street explosion. That would explain the bizarre message to evacuate.

You can see from this video, the building is still entirely intact. (The the white building on the right at the start of the video is the Bell South telephone building, the Red building with no windows attached to it is the AT&T building) Probably some shockwave damage inside and infrastructure damage on the street, but if the attack was intended to destroy the building, it failed.
