Had a split level, could see one floor in front, 2 in back. Had a patio deck off the top floor. Rec room in back off the top floor. For 2 years a robin would make her nest in the under deck rafters. One year, watched her kick her chicks out of the nest. It was about an 8 ft. fall. Got to see two of them make a flying landing. Then they got to running. Had the garage door open. One ran into the garage. I ran into the garage and shooed the confused chick out. It ran a few steps and took a 30 ft. flight to where it's siblings were. It was a wonderful sight to see.
