The Global Vision Initiative (GVI) is the charitable activities of LR INTERNATIONAL, INC., a global logistics company headquartered in Chicago founded in 1988 by Ric and Linda Frantz. (((LRI))) to Host Fund Raising Event for Free The Girls
For the last five years, (((LRI has partnered with Free the Girls))) a not-for-profit group that rescues women and girls from lives in (((human trafficking))) by offering them sustainable employment selling used clothing. Free the Girls pilot program was launched in Mozambique and has now expanded to Uganda, El Salvador, and plans to open in Costa Rica.
On Sunday November 1, LRI and Free the Girls will host a fund raising event at Pinstripes in Oak Brook IL from 2 pm - 5 pm. Guests will hear from leaders impacting the global fight against human trafficking and be treated to a buffet style lunch plus bowling and bocce gaming!
