Vaccines from Pfizer-BioNTech have made their way to every health authority in the province, a week after they initially arrived in B.C.

Health Minister Adrian Dix said in a tweet. Henry’s dose demonstrates “full confidence in the safety of the vaccine and show support for health care workers across our province.”
Health-care workers are first in line for the province’s vaccine distribution, and weekly deliveries are already underway.
While Henry has explained it will take time for everyone who wants a vaccine to get it, she said it should be widely available later in 2021.

Okay so this is "new vaccine science" and it instructs the RNA of our own cells to create the viral-derived protein which will then trigger our body to create the antigen...rather than an "old vaccine" which injects the viral-derived protein which will then trigger our body to create the antigen. But no explanation from this non-scientist as to why such an approach offers any difference; why old vaccine technology can't do the same; what the risks are to "re-programming" our DNA to create viral proteins rather than do what our body is designed to do, which is to create antigens not more "virsuses." This is a sad, incomplete and unsettling explanation for this new mRNA approach, and I suspect it simply relies on people's overall trust and laziness and lack of "real" education to say, sure, ok, sounds good, and no one demands that Bill explain a lot more than he is explaining. Where are the scientists?! Have they all succumbed to Satan's seduction?
So basically an mRNA vaccine reprograms our DNA. And so maybe this might even work for fighting a virus. But do we really want to re-program our DNA every time the government tells us we have to for some "public health measure"? My DNA is already good at fighting COVID-19, thanks. Why are they so interested in getting us comfortable with the idea of reprogramming our DNA? I still don't understand how an mRNA vaccine that ultimately results in a viral protein in our blood stream is better than an old vaccine technology that also results in a viral protein in our blood stream.
