In college, my Criminal Justice was taught by a retired LA PD offier. He told us how during the OJ trial, since OJ was out on bail he had a LA Sheriff escort assigned. They would just do normall day to day stuff and follow him around. Over a morning cup of coveffee OJ confessed to them and told them exactly how he did it. He said if they tried to use it in court he would plead jail house confession and force a mistrial. This is why they planted the evidence.
