There is a lot of talk about the current issues and what is happening right now. I thought I would share a few thoughts on what I think should be implemented to help preserve and allow the Republic to thrive, to become a more perfect union.

There are currently 535 representatives in the legislative branch in the federal government. I would propose that we have an increase in the amount of representatives. There is serious concern, because the majority of this 535 pool seems to be compromised easily by a few individuals. Q has told us many times that the bad apples are the minority. That is most likely true, and it is more the reason to find a structural shift that can allow us to become more resilient. We cannot allow a minority to so easily affect the entire system.

If we had a representative in the house for every 100,000 persons then it would do three things: 1) Make each representative less important 2) Make it more difficult for consensus (on issues that seem to belong in a state or community). 3) Much more difficult to buy off the entire sum or majority of representatives. If we continue down the path of 535 representatives we will always contend with the same corruption and individuals will become more and more wealthy. We will most likely see the first trillionaire, and with that wealth its easy to imagine how corrupt it will be if a minority can have this much impact already.

The suggestion would be to allow for the least corruptable individual to serve. As Plato mentions in the Republic, there are three motivations that will serve government. First, the motivation of money. Second, a motivation for honors. Lastly, the one who is forced to do it. We are witnessing a man who was forced to do it, and we have witnessed what Plato spoke about.

The idea would be to have a sort of jury pool for those with high honors and high wealth to put into a selection every two years, and the people will vote on those individuals. It is a sort of punishment for their reward from a society that has given them so much.

Legislative Branch Potential Solutions

  • 1 representative (each chamber) x population = 12,000 representatives (constantly growing to outpace great wealth by individuals)

  • Jury pool of the least corrupt-able (those who are forced to do it, and already have honors and/or wealth)
