The only thing left after a nuclear explosion would be cockroaches and central offices. These buildings were built to withstand any. They are thick with deep basements. I have seen some saying they have been fortified since adding NSA as a client and I call bullshit. I have been inside these things. They are beasts.

The hole in the center of the “explosion” photo is a handhole. I attached two pictures for reference. They are dug 4-10 feet down and concrete handholes are placed. Fib r from all directions come into the box and it allows for fiber loops and organization prior to pulling the fibers into the building.

The blown out areas were existing louver panels that give the appearance of windows but are not. Ma Bell loved adding these panels to soften the appearance of these ugly ass buildings.

When considering the blast area just remember that the rectangular openings were already there AND there was a deep hole to begin with.

I listened to Broadcastify immediately after the explosion- many did- I heard the call go out that drone were coming into the area to not be alarmed. Maybe they were coming from the airport area?

No idea is right. Hats off to those that know it. Not my specialty. Thank you for the explanation. Makes sense. Could even be a manhole in front of the Tandem.

Good sapper team uses RV to hide access to manholes and street lift.

Pack conduits, and drill holes through concrete to interior. Pack 12" drill holes with ANFO And cap outside end.

Fill under street with with proper stochiometric max ratio to have sewer area conflagration/explosion (special effects), maybe some gasoline containers and det. cord.

They had some 24 hrs to plant it. No need for nukes or risky aircraft drone etc drops.

You guys don't have a clue what demo teams with time and simple explosives can do.
