I was born with Spina Bifida Occulta. In my case it has cause many problems in my life. Finally figured out why I had a dimple where there shouldn't be one.

I had surgery that involved cadaver bone, rods, plates and screws. Fucked me up for life.

Anyway, I was also one of those passed around to family members. Trafficking isn't only about those caught up in the "industry".

Many, many are caught up in the dirty little secret. Didn't matter who you cried to for help, they were likely in the know. Either facilitating (Mom) , participating (family members) or those who said nothing but knew what was going on.

When I was a baby, I did have spinal TAPs due to meningitis (I almost died), scars on my body I had to ask about.

You've given me a lot to think about. I pray no more memories invade my sleep. I have a hard enough time as it is. I'm out.

Going off on a rant here but the subject has definitely affected my life, I never thought about it in this way though.
