Nice theory and I agree….plausible. However, Lockheed has plenty of civilian pilots on the payroll to do jobs like this. Military pilots would need to be currently trained/certified to fly F-117. Since the plane was retired doubtful ANY military qualified. Plus, it makes sense that Lockheed, as the developer, would have power to retrieve planes form mothballed status under R&D cover for an op like this.
