For the record, I never liked Taxi Driver. In fact, I've never seen the whole thing. That's how I knew I was "different" from your typical Hollywood worshiper (liberal). I knew it was a sick mind fuck for a number of reasons, so I don't celebrate it, and can't learn anything by absorbing it. Other "genius" iconic films on that list include Clockwork Orange, Apocalypse Now, Brokeback Mountain, There Will Be Blood, and many others.
