Democrat Raphael Warnock Dodges Questions About Domestic Dispute Accusation

Georgia Senate Democrat candidate Raphael Warnock dodged questions this week about an alleged domestic dispute with his ex-wife in March.

Video footage emerged recently in which Warnock’s ex-wife claimed the Georgia Democrat ran over her foot during a verbal argument.

After the video surfaced, Warnock dodged questions from a local CBS station regarding the accusation from his ex-wife. He also accused Sen. Kelly Loeffler (R-GA), his opponent during the January Senate runoffs, of “playing games.”

“I’m going to stay focused on my family, which includes their mother, and I’m going to stay focused on the people of Georgia who during a pandemic are still waiting on relief all these months later while politicians including Kelly Loeffler are busy playing games,” Warnock said Thursday after his ex-wife, Ouleye Ndoye, alleged that he ran over her foot.

Loeffler said in a statement this week that Warnock’s refusal to answer questions regarding the domestic dispute accusation serves as part of Warnock’s inability to be transparent with the public.

“Domestic abuse is a serious issue that Georgians deserve answers to as to what exactly happened. Unfortunately, it follows a pattern of what we’ve seen that Raphael Warnock has not answered the hard questions in this campaign,” Loeffler said in a statement this week.

In the dispute between Warnock and Ndoye, Warnock said, “She won’t move, and she’s keeping the door … I’m thinking she’s clear and I barely moved and all the sudden she’s screaming that I ran over her foot. I don’t believe it.”

“This man is running for the United States Senate, and all he cares about right now is his reputation,” Ndoye said in the video.

Ndoye said that Warnock is a “great actor.”

The dispute between Ndoye and Warnock occurred over divorce paperwork as Warnock was preparing to challenge Kelly Loeffler. Ndoye and Warnock divorced two months later.

The Georgia Senate runoffs play a pivotal role in the battle for control of the Senate majority. If both Loeffler and Sen. David Perdue (R-GA) lose in January, then Sen. Kamala Harris (D-CA), the vice president-elect, becomes the Senate’s tiebreaking vote.

Ted Nugent sets off Twitter SJWs with holiday message slamming Black Lives Matter as ‘soulless, stupid & based on lies’

Conservative rocker Ted Nugent appeared on the ‘America This Week’ radio program and made waves by targeting the Black Lives Matter movement, letting out comments that are earning him accusations of racism.

Asked by host Eric Bolling on Sunday about athletes like Colin Kaepernick kneeling for the National Anthem and the American flag being “disrespected” at protests across the nation, Nugent made his feelings about BLM crystal clear.

“I identify those people as being real soulless, real stupid. They don’t even know what they’re doing,” Nugent said of those behind the BLM movement, then targeting the slogan “hands up, don’t shoot,” a common chant by BLM protesters in reference to the shooting of 2014 Michael Brown shooting in Ferguson, Missouri.

“They claim that somebody’s hands were up, and they got shot. That’s a lie. I know the situation. I’ve studied those situations, and nobody’s hands were up, and nobody got shot. So the entire premise of that so-called protest is based on a lie,” Nugent said.

Reports that Brown had been shot in cold blood by police with his hands raised in surrender, based on uncorroborated accounts of events, were proven to be false in ensuing investigations.

“And they can’t be that stupid. They know it’s a lie. They’re just liars. So when you see someone disrespecting our flag, um, they don’t deserve any respect themselves, and they should be ashamed of themselves,” Nugent said.

Eric Clapton just called to complain that Ted is giving mediocre racist guitar players a bad name.

Nugent, a vocal supporter of President Donald Trump and a Second Amendment advocate, has been blasted for his blunt comments on the BLM movement – which has seen protests across the country become more and more common this year, some turning to violence – has been accused by liberal activists on social media of racism, though he never referred to black people when making his comments about BLM.

Ted Nugent like the other so called MAGA celebrities are irrelevant…once the 🍊🤡 is gone let’s hope they all crawl back into the holes they came out of 4 years ago!

UK radio host under fire for highlighting low Covid-19 mortality among healthy & young and calling for them to ‘carry on living’

A British journalist was accused of callousness and stupidity after sharing NHS figures showing that Covid-19 “mostly kills the very old & the very sick,” and arguing that the young and healthy should go on with their lives.

Talkradio host Julia Hartley-Brewer drew fire and fury online by injecting some statistics into the incendiary ‘lives v the economy’ debate. “Just 377 healthy people under 60 have died of Covid. That's not a typo. There are no zeros missing,” she tweeted, sharing a post by columnist Paul Embery.

The figure is accurate, if outdated. The latest weekly update from the National Health Service (NHS) England, up to December 23, puts the number of people under 60 who have died from Covid-19 in hospitals, and had no prior conditions, slightly higher – at 388.

Despite the difference, Hartley-Brewer’s point still stands, which is: “help the millions of old & sick to shield while allowing the young & healthy (& our economy) to carry on living.”

The take was met with much rage online, including from people who seemed to ignore her ‘no, I am not saying let the old and sick die out’ disclaimer and rushed to topple the straw man. Hartley-Brewer pushed back against some of those comments, calling them “disingenuous or wilfully stupid” and sharing a few personal attacks made against her.

https://www.rt.com/uk/510839-old-sick-die-statistics/She didn’t seem as ready to reply to more nuanced criticisms, however. Covid-19 creates problems on many fronts. For example, hospital cases drain the limited reserve of medical resources and labour. “Flattening the curve” to prevent overwhelming the healthcare system was the initial rationale for social distancing rules and lockdowns, before both issues got highly politicised in some Western countries. At the moment, over 18,000 hospital beds in England are occupied by Covid-19 patients, who have their own pool of beds that are separate from other patients.
