>Congress OVERRIDING the NDAA

I'm no Congressfag, but the Insurrection Act language came in an amendment pushed by Veronica Escobar over the summer. It passed along party lines, but I find no reference to this amendment in what appears to be the finalized bill. I don't know what happened there.

"An amendment numbered 3 printed in House Report 116-457 to require certifications be made to Congress when the President deploys active duty military within the United States during civil unrest by amending the Insurrection Act in Title 10, Chapter 13 of U.S. Code."

>Imagine people who have waiting their whole lives for things to get better

Been trying to make peace with this for myself, though I always quietly rage when I do. While POTUS and whoever after will make major headway with the corrupt assholes in the government now, what will become of the normie headcases we deal with on the day to day? Those people, even if they do understand at some point and accept what happened, will still take YEARS to totally drop their sheep inclinations. So they might attempt to "get it" just to "fit in" as always? It may wind up being a generational problem left to die when the current generations pass on. Because really, who can fully trust their judgment, especially after this Covid shit? I'm actually more disgusted by normies now than I was just minding my own business on /pol/ pre-Q. Feel blessed to be here, but the transition isn't likely going to offer any long-term social fixes in this lifetime for anons already totally disgusted by everything. Feel really sorry for those who "got it" long ago and weren't believed at all. It's cold and lonely on the frontier.
