Pence is playing his part in the movie. If it is the original Pence, not a double or clone, he was a black hat and was flipped by PDJT. If he "goes back on the deal," which gave him a choice of death for treason, or work for the White Hats and PDJT, they just hit the switch and the implant in him detonates (they've got the tech already, not just movie fantasy). If he's not the original Pence, Pence was already "McCained."
