so yesterday we took the bus to downtown (deep red state) and behind us there was a group of trump supporters talking about how jan 6th will change everything. at some point an older guy asked them if trump would actually do anything considering he already signed the stimulus bill. soon after nearly the whole bus joined the conversation and even the trump supporters agreed that going to dc would only make things worse. it was great to see such unity as if the nation had already started healing. then to make the moment event more magical, a guy with biden/harris hat got on and the whole bus stood up and cheered.
