Best thing about '87 was the sense that things would still keep getting better. I remember it being the first year fuel injection was widely available (I'm a gear head). Then just when you thought Rock couldn't get any better, Guns n. Roses released their first album. Reagan was still president. Soviet Union starting to falter. It was fucking epic. Pre-EU also, so whenever you traveled you got the real experience of the different cultures and currency. What a fucking downward spiral after 1990 though.
