California Governor Gavin Newsom pardoned a Chinese woman who killed a 9-month old in a murder so heinous one wonders how much he was paid for this pardon. Also her lawyers fought this VERY hard and dissected every single aspect of the trauma. Difficult to believe a babysitter had the means to fight so hard in court and then ultimately appeal, and then be pardoned. Further digging is needed of course.
