They were recent programs to replace the older post-WW2 versions. They were to hold 24 fully packed Marines with two variants (transport w/guns and comms). The AAAV was kind of a mess so the EFV replaced it. However, it too went belly up.

They were Bad Ass machines that I'm still wondering why they were canceled. Without going into too much detail, I had to stand up against a Marine Corp Colonel and tell him that his program sucked but at the same time he had some great people busting their collective butts to make it work.

Why am I bringing this up:

Sometimes I feel more useful on this Board. My skills and research get used by others and actions are taken. Yes…CM your are Welcome.

Why does this happen?

None of us are really worried about our careers here.

We are working together without recognition.

There are many reasons why it was cancelled. The use of vehicles for land based attacks changed. There were contractor issues, besides some Government incompetence. There were also software issues. Also, they didn't want to have the Bradley experience repeated.

The great skill of POTUS Trump is that he brings people Literally to the table and asks them questions. Good questions. Obama didn't have good questions.

Umm…Bull Crap on your Mormon Church and Boy Scout connection.

There are many Boy Scout programs not associated with the Mormon Church and they had challenges too. Also, it is not the organization that is the issue. It is a problem with the Adult Leaders.

The Lawyers a pushing large Class Action lawsuits and getting as many people to accuse as possible with large sums of money attached.

Hurley McKenna & Mertz is probably such a law firm. Go after as big a money load as you can. As I found out doing some diggz, there are older men accusing their dead Scout Masters of abuse. Why not!. The dead can't defend themselves and someone can collect large sums of money. Theft by a different name.
