What people need to understand about us survivors is, it started so damn young, and literally changed our brains. We were marinated in trauma. Not looking for sympathy, nor do I want it, it's just our brains work differently then say someone 18 heading to combat getting ptsd.
So how we respond is different.
I'm saying this so when survivors come forward, just treat them the same, if you act differently, they'll sense it in a heartbeat and shut off to you. We are hardcore realists.
As for me, I call myself legally psychotic, lol.
I mentor those with PTSD, Complex and Combat, because I can.
I can handle anything, I just like to watch out for others,

Complex Trauma is the same as Complex PTSD, this woman is perfection, in her teaching of it, to other health professionals, IN a religious setting no less.
