I was working under the assumption that Q was giving answers in his questions. My method was when an acronym like POTUS was in the question I shifted it to the beginning (often becoming the subject).
For example:
Can POTUS do that?
becomes
POTUS can do that.
And so on. It did not seem to work perfectly every time but it worked a majority of the time and the statements which were derived from the transposition usually made logical sense.
They are resigning because either
They have been caught up in pedophilia or the like,
They have uncloaked as Never Trumpers and they cannot win another election,
They were caught breaking the law,
They cannot win their primary or upcoming general election (approval numbers upside down), or
Circumstance and they are simply retiring.
But this assassination catch-all is to give everybody cover.
Expand your thinking is a command.
It is not a literal statement.
The drops are written in different forms and contain more messages than the sum total of the actual words in the drop.

Re_read - I take this to mean that there are at least two (2) Q drops that need to be combined or, rather, placed side-by-side. The key is to find the phrase that both drops have in common and set them side-by-side by joining the common phrase. I am still attempting to determine if you then read both messages normally (from up to down) but I also go from up to down from the MARKER (common phrase) on one message and from the marker up on the next to see which message is more plausible. If you get combinations that have to be gibberish you know the order is somehow wrong.

As you can see I don't have a great grasp on my theory but I simply cannot shake it. My intuition tells me there is a message and that I simply have to decipher the meaning and methods of the commands.

Open source is not a command but simply means it is publicly accessible and available information.
FUTURE PROVES PAST means I cannot show you the evidence at this moment but I am aware and you will become aware through some revelation in the future. The purpose of FUTURE PROVES PAST is to prove to anons this is not a LARP. Q has foreknowledge.
I believe MIRROR is the original command so that we might visualize how the messages were hidden in the drops. In general, I think we failed miserably to pick up on the meaning of MIRROR so Q began to release sub-commands as how the method of reading the message.
