this anon was raised in the Catholic church, but came to the beginning of realization of fuckery in first grade, actually. I went to a public school for kindergarten, the the parochial elementary and high school. I was told in first grade that everyone who wasn't Catholic was going to hell. I was shocked because that meant all the friends I made in kindergarten that weren't Catholic were going to hell. Made no sense to me if God was a loving God. How could I, a mere human, love those kids more than God? The start of my exodus, I left before graduation, but had to fake shit for years to pacify parents.

Agree. This anon did the Isaiah 6:8 thing at about age 12.
