the old timers need to show the new generation the ropes and make sure their skills are up to snuff. once upon a time you wouldn't be hired if you couldn't move a 300lb barrel across the yard by yourself. our grandfathers had to turn in ten thousand slothead screws by hand before they got to operate an electric drill. human decency eroded somewhere along the line though. it is difficult working for a person who developed their social character in the 70's.
