So much wrong info. Prescription GHB is called xyrem and is 15k a month. It treats narcolepsy. I’ve been on it for 2 years and I’m not addicted. It takes time to titrate up on the medication and overdosing can cause you to stop breathing.
I’m lucky and with insurance I only pay $35 a month. It’s given me my quality of life back. H1n1 vaccine in 2009 caused an outbreak of narcolepsy cases.
You are correct they are molecularly similar. But it’s effects are the same as the date rape drug GHB. It’s meant to put you in a deep sleep with no memory of what happens when sleeping. It’s a scary drug to regain my life back.
