Anyone interested in digging? I know, I know, some weird baker war or some such is much more interesting, but hear me out. A company called Dominion Energy is teaming up with Smithfield (Chinese owned?) to burn gas from hog lagoons as "biogas".

If you don't like the baker "shitshow" you might like this one instead.

(Plus you might help out some small family farms in states like Missouri. Those farms are having a hard time against the corporations which think gigantic hog lagoons and pigs kept in tiny compartments instead of living the "hog life" is fine and dandy.)

Got to thinking about this. Dominion Energy and Smithfield are teaming up to use hogs in CAFOs (Confined Animal Feeding Operations) as a source of ENERGY. In the Matrix movies PEOPLE were confined similarly for use as an energy source. Of course, in this case it is actually gas from the hog waste that is being used, but the direction this is heading seems pretty clear to me.

I found out a little about it. Quote from web site:

"That focus—along with the company’s commitment to sustainability—has remained the same following the company’s 2013 acquisition by Shuanghui International Holdings Limited (now WH Group Limited). "

Was a fake Smithfield CEO the one who pulled a fast one on Maria Bartiromo? Maybe it is less damaging to their reputation to be thought of as inconsiderate to workers and to hogs than it is to be Chinese owned atm.
