The source of the information that Trump met with Mueller “the day before” Mueller was appointed Special Counsel was long time Trump confidant Chris Ruddy. He was quoted in NPR and other news articles on June 9 and an NBC article on June 13 gave further details hinting at his sources.

“Ruddy, for his part, did not claim he met with Trump during his visit to the West Wing on Monday. Sources familiar with his visit told NBC News he met with chief of staff Reince Priebus and chief strategist Steve Bannon.”

“Ruddy said he had a conversation with the president last week, but that Mueller did not come up.”

Whitehouse Sean Spicer (remember him?) immediately but ineptly denied that Trump had ever considered firing Mueller, tried to get Ruddy to walk back his previous disclosures.

So Ruddy was told that Trump was considering firing Mueller by someone other than Trump ,then SHTF in the news - what happened next?

Sean Spicer resigned July 21 2017

Rience Priebus fired July 28 2017

Steve Bannon fired August 19 2017

Was the leak of Trump interviewing Mueller a staged event by Enemies (Preibus, Bannon)?

Were they really Enemies or Slaves being blackmailed into compliance?

I meant to add that the day before Mueller was appointed Special Counsel Trump had a rather busy day, so not sure when he would have had time to meet with Mueller for 4 hours.

So did the meeting really take place at all???
