Ambassador Jack F, Matlock was a deep cover CIA asset.
The two attached screenshots are the same page of a report from the HSCA-House Select Committee on Assassination
They show the progression of how the document was selectively edited. Notice at first it states that Jack F. Matlock is NOT a CIA asset. Then somebody decided to edit his name out of the document altogether. This tells me that he was a CIA asset which is a BOOM.

Matlock was deep cover CIA embedded in the State Department. His first assignment was to Moscow in 1961. Later he became the Ambassador to the Soviet Union under Reagan. Most likely he was directly involved in the CIA plot to take out JFK.

Matlock is a big piece of the puzzle. I think he was deep cover CIA. His first assignment as a foreign services officer was in Moscow, 1961. Placing him there during the Bay of Pigs. He would have a bone to pick with JFK.
