You have to be a registered gun owner in DC and can have ammo specific to that registered firearm. The registration of the ammo is tied to the firearm.

if you have a box of 9mm ammo and are not a registered firearm owner in DC you are in violation of the law. There is also no open carry or concealed carry so firearms are for home use only.
no man I am very pro 2nd amendment, but DC is one of the worst with gun laws. At least be informed before you do something stupid.
You have to be travelling through and making no stops in the city
yea DC is the worst with self defense options
That's a choice everyone needs to make themselves I am just letting people know that they will be in violation of DC laws.
not true anon
In many states you have to be passing through and making n stops for that to apply, check the laws on where you are travelling
yea it is pretty strict and good luck getting a ccw permit
In DC your gun has to be registered period. You can try your luck in court, up to you. It's probably the worst location for gun rights in America.
agree
