I wrote a function taking surnames, given names, addresses, phone datas to generate random people for stress testing a CRM type application. All of the data I used was from gov't sources. FIPS, etc
Not sure my point, but I think it's hard for these people to grasp what Bobby was talking about the probabilities and optimizations and 'fake' people.
that's not how it was used… inserted rows into a database with some semi-human looking data to see where things broke.
