The state job was when I was in my early 20s, I've worked for almost exclusively private companies where I'm expected to produce all day so seethe harder you absolute retard. You sound like someone who pays your employees shit and then wonders why they don't like you.

Again, my experience working at smaller places is that the supposed virtuous nature of "muh small businesses" is a meme, and they're just as prone to corruption and ineptitude as larger companies (albeit on a smaller scale.) If my personal experience offends you so much, it's probably because you realize I'm right.

So go change your diaper, "boss." Your employees are wondering why their checks bounced and why your halfwit nephew was made supervisor and is now dating the new girl who just coincidentally got a raise.

Some very weird Stockholm syndrome type shit going on with a lot of smaller places nowadays. It's like they refuse to accept the government is actively screwing them over, so they double down on in-store mask mandates and virtue signaling in hopes that they'll be cut some slack while their businesses implode over it. This is coming from a super liberal city though, when I was out in the rest of the state a few months back people weren't even wearing masks in the Wal-Mart kek.

People sometimes forget that "mom" is a neurotic control freak and "pop" is a swiss-cheese brained alcoholic.

Upward mobility is somewhat of a myth in this country, now more than ever. Any time I see a successful person, 9/10 times I read their bio and early life to find they were already the product of a wealthy family.

Patrick Byrne, for instance. He and others seem to imply that he's a self-made bagillionaire, started out in the garage yadda yadda yadda the usual fluff story. The reality is that he's the son of the guy whom Warren Buffet put in charge of GEICO. So we have a the son of a millionaire with direct access to Warren fucking Buffett as an example of "hurr durr anyone can make it if they try."

Try looking up early histories for yourself. Yes, occasionally you'll find a former crackhead like MyPillow Mike but the trend is that you only succeed past a certain point if you already had successful parents.

How is the cannabis industry in OK? I'm in the state directly South of you and looking to get into the industry as a grower. Seems like a lot less red tape than places like CO or OR.

Ha, my life's a mess currently and I have about 200 things I need to take care of before I can consider a move up there. But I believe we've spoken before so if we're all still alive next year let's reconnect again.
